What to have ready when you call or write
None of this is essential — Steve will work through it with you — but having it to hand makes the first conversation far more productive.
- The kind of work you need: a residential concrete foundation, a retaining wall, retrofitting of an existing foundation, a crawl space foundation wall, a daylight basement, or flatwork such as a sidewalk, patio or slab.
- Where the site is in Montana — the town or the nearest one, and whether the lot is flat or on a slope.
- Whether a design or plan has already been drawn, and if so, who drew it. If plans exist, email the drawings to steve@surefoundationmt.com.
- Whether the site is already excavated, or whether that work is still to come.
- Approximate dimensions or square footage, if you know them, and the wall height you are expecting.
- When you would like the concrete poured, and any date the rest of the build is already committed to.
- Who else is on the job — the general contractor, builder or designer Steve would be coordinating with.
- Your phone number or email address, so Steve can follow up after looking at the details.
