Concrete foundations built right, across Montana
A Sure Foundation is a family-owned and operated concrete company pouring residential foundations, walls and flatwork with a commitment to the highest level of quality and accuracy — which means NO CUTTING CORNERS. Call Steve for a free estimate before anything is poured.
What we pour
Seven kinds of concrete work, explained in plain English so you can tell which one your project actually needs.
-

RESIDENTIAL CONCRETE FOUNDATIONS
Footings and foundation walls for a new house — the poured base everything above it is squared off. This is the work to call about when your plans are drawn and you need someone to form, pour and strip the foundation.

-

RETAINING WALLS
Poured concrete walls that hold back a bank of earth where the ground changes level — around a driveway cut, a walkout, a terraced yard or a hillside building pad.

-

RETROFITTING OF FOUNDATIONS
Work on an existing house rather than a new one: replacing or rebuilding foundation wall below a structure that is already standing. This is the service to ask about when the building is fine but what it sits on is not.
Learn more →
-

CRAWL SPACE FOUNDATION WALLS
A short concrete stem wall that lifts the floor a few feet off the ground instead of excavating a full basement — common on Montana builds where a basement is not wanted or the site does not suit one.

-

DAYLIGHT BASEMENTS
On a sloping lot, the lower level is buried on the uphill side and opens out at grade on the downhill side, so the basement takes windows and a door. It asks for careful forming, because one wall is finished living space and the other is holding back ground.

-

SIDEWALK, PATIOS, SLABS
Flatwork — the horizontal concrete around and inside a build. Walks, patios, garage and shop slabs, poured flat, jointed and finished so they drain the right way and stay that way.
